Above Bench

This isn't just another mobile kitchen—it's a live stage for your street food brand.
Massive panoramic curved glass wraps around the front and sides, giving crowds a front-row view of the action inside. Watching food get tossed, seared, and plated right before their eyes triggers orders way faster than a printed menu ever could. If your cooking process is part of the draw, this build puts your craft on full display.
Beyond the glass, the window system uses push-button electric lifts. No wrestled-with heavy metal panels after a 12-hour shift. Worried about a motor acting up? We engineered a manual service hatch right into the frame. If power ever hiccups, you override it manually in seconds—zero downtime, zero missed sales.
Up top, the roof runs a subtle 375 mm arc, our shallowest curve yet. That gives you near-vertical interior walls, maximum upper cabinet space, and the exact floorplan utility of our Chris Machinery square-body trailers. Need extra airflow or heavy summer cooling? We easily prep the roof for an optional skylight or commercial rooftop AC unit.
Combined with custom RGB strip lighting, this showcase food trailer turns heads on any street corner or festival ground.

Above Bench — the glass starts right at counter level. No gap between the glass and the worktop. That means no crevice for grease or crumbs to hide — easier to wipe down, easier to pass health inspection.
Below Bench — the glass drops below the counter line. Gives the trailer a cleaner, more boutique feel. Looks bigger, more premium. Think high-end retail display.
Pick the one that fits your brand. Same build quality underneath.

Capsule comes in a single roof curve. If you want more arc options, check out our Airstream series — three different curves to choose from.
Like the container trailer, Capsule is heavier than a standard build. That means fewer length options. If you need a longer footprint, take a look at our other series.
Same build quality. Just different shapes for different needs.
Paint versus stainless is the Capsule finish split, same idea as Airstream. Width is 2200 mm. Filter Material after the length band. Glass layout details belong on Customize, not in a second shape chip.
The three cards group lengths already in the Capsule filter (3900–5500 mm). Width is 2200 mm. Shape is 375 Arc on every Capsule. Glass height is Above or Below counter — see the two cards above. After you pick a card, filter Length, Material, and Axle. Example links are placeholders until you paste /products/capsule/your-slug.
Shortest Capsule bodies with a glass service face. 375 Arc only. Single Axle is typical.

The usual Capsule working length. Step to Tandem when equipment payload rises. Stainless if the metal should show; paint if you wrap.

Longest body in this series. If you need 5800–7000 mm or a 500/700 arc, go to Airstream.

Here's how we walk our customers through designing their Capsule trailer layout. Follow these steps, and you'll have a solid plan before we cut any steel.
1: List your equipment and measure everything
Start with the gear you want to run. Write down each piece and its dimensions — fryer, griddle, burners, upright fridge, whatever you need. Lay them out in order, then add up the total length.
Example: fryer + griddle + burners + upright fridge comes to about 2,600 mm. Add curved counter space at both ends — at least 1,000 mm more. That gives you the interior length. Add wall thickness, and you're looking at a 4-meter body.
2: Map the wheel wells
Wheel wells eat into floor space. An upright fridge won't sit on top of a wheel well — it simply won't fit. So mark those positions first, then adjust your equipment layout around them. Add your sink, under-counter fridge, and storage cabinets. This step locks in your final interior layout.
3: Pick your glass style
Above bench or below bench? The glass style doesn't change the interior layout, but it matters — a lot. Decide early so it doesn't get missed during production. Once you've chosen, double-check your total length and watch for height conflicts. Not sure about something? Reach out to Chris Machinery. We'll take a look and give you feedback.
4: Map your outlets and utility points
Power outlets — how many and where. Water inlet position. Shore power hookup location. These details affect how clean your setup runs once you're on-site. Mark them based on your workflow or local requirements.
Once we have all this, we'll finalize 2D and 3D drawings and confirm everything with you before production starts.
